Hi Everyone,

Glad that I found this forum, I just signed up and have been doing a little browsing. I have always wanted to get into smoking and I have decided to make the plunge. I do not have a smoker yet, but my wife gave me $300 to put towards one for Christmas. So far it seems that a quite a few people like the Masterbuilt, this may be of interest to me, I am looking to get an electric model. As I am totally new to this method I am open to suggestions. I hunt and fish so I will be looking into methods for doing venison, wild turkey and fish, as well as beef, pork and chicken.

I look forward to learning from all of your experiences, and sharing when I can contribute.
