Hey Y'all,

Came across this site as I was looking for beef jerky recipes.  I purchased a dehydrator from Cabelas a few weeks ago and have been making my own jerky nonstop, since.  Figured it'd be cheaper since I had a $50 a week jerky habit.

Just made a batch of alligator jerky last night, took it to work and its practically all gone. My coworkers either loved it or they were just hungry. I've only made beef till this point.  Looking forward to trying my hand at other exotic meats.  I hope to learn a lot from this forum.

My interests include, the wife, the dog, guns and gun smithing, making holsters and now making my own jerky.

I'm a welder/fabricator by trade, some have referred to me as a redneck rennasaince man.

Anything else you'd like to know, just ask.

Look forward to meeting some cool folks.

Thank you,

Possum

Good morning and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and soggy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
