Hello,
I just found everyone here and I predict losing many hours of sleep reading all there is to read. This forum looks extremely informative and there seems to be many nice people to meet in the coming weeks.
I am planning to get into a retail restaurant serving BBQ with possible seating. I have had retail stores before but nothing like a restaurant. I dont feel like I am jumping into the deep end of the pool to see if I can swim but more like jumping off the cliff to see if I can fly.
One question I have for all the commercial members here.
I am scouting out the proper smoker for use in the restaurant. I have limited space and cant use something as large as a Souther Pride smoker. I have been looking at some of the Friedrich and Cookshack brands because of their capacities and footprints. Any recommendations of other units for a commercial application?

thanks to all who answer by private email and good luck to everyone I have yet to meat......(!)

Welcome to SMF! Don't know much about the commercial stuff, other than I have hooked gas up to it once or twice. Someone with a little more knowledge will be along I am sure to help you.

Glad you found the SMF your cup of tea. We are a happy and helpful bunch, so ask us for a quick reply on your questions.
