Good Afternoon from noob

    Joined the forum and asked a couple questions yesterday without formally introducing myself. Scott Smith here - just won a 34" Smoke Hollow gasser in a raffle and finally got it out of the box and am putting it to good use as I write. I have 2 racks of babybacks and a 3lb brisket smoking at 200 degrees over hickory chips. 1 hour down, probably 4 more to go from what I have read on the boards here. The first Budweiser of the day has been cracked and since my Giants lost last night, I have to settle for the Buff/Phil game while I tend to the meat. Serving up a side of cheddar and pepper creamed corn, BBQ baked beans, some slaw, and of course corn bread from scratch. Some Stubb's will be available for those who desire it. So hello and thanks for all of the help that has already been provided in my short stint here so far! [​IMG]

    Welcome, Scott, and thanks for the Roll Call post. Yeah, seems the pats are the team of destiny in the NFL this year. I'm hoping my Wings are for the NHL ;{)

    Enjoy your time here and enjoy those ribs! PS... when ya get real good at ribs, very few folks will sauce 'em heavy for sure, if they know anything, anyway...LOL!
