Fathers Day 12lbs butt with Q view

  1. First Q view so here we go

    12 hours prior to smoke: rubbed with " Sweet Rub of Mine" I always add some of "whatever's in my spice rack" to add layers of flavor.

    0430 starting the lump charcoal

    If you haven't visited Ellijay Ga you probably should. This is my view from back porch this morning.

    0700 two hour check and mist with apple juice

    0915 rekindle and mist

  3. 8 hrs in. Probe evidently broke any hint on telling when it's done except pulling bone? Might have to foil just don't know when I should.

    I sometimes foil for the last hour or so.  If you do, save the juice and make a side sauce from it.
