I have had mine for 8 months now and love it!  I was wondering if I can use it for deep frying?  It is Deep Fried Turkey season so I was hoping I could use it to make my fried turkeys?  Has anyone ever used it to deep fry?  Oil temp high is 350 degrees.

I'm gonna go ahead and say no. The connection at the probe and wire portion of most thermometers isn't 100% water tight and I'd imagine any jumping grease working it's way into the area would be bad for business. In this case, I'd get a good ole analog stick in meat thermometer and calibrate and go. There's usually pretty cheap at the big box stores.
