Day off, Butts ON

  1. Finally had a day off, cruised by the meat market yesterday and they had Boston butts for 2$ a lb, so naturally i had to get one. Came out to 7.6lbs.

    There it is all rubbed up, tried a new rub on it. Consisted of brown sugar, garlic& onion powder, chili powder, ground cayenne& habanero ( i prefer hott) white pepper, ground cumin and some other things.

    Ill have more Q view on the way, i threw it in the smoke 3 hours ago, soon to open and see whats goin on.

    Update: just opened her up, lookin good. Starting the sprittzin process now, every hour on the hour
    And you know i cant smoke food without a nice glass of Macallan and a great cigar. Just wouldn't be right, cheers

    Butt looks good.. the cigar however looks great. It looks as long as the butt ;)
