well this weekend I pulled a brisket outta the freezer. My father-in-law was in town and figured it was this or hamburger helper lol and we know HH just aint gonna cut it! !

I think I cut it pretty good between the point and flat
seasoned it up with a basic brisket rub
paprika garlic powder onion powder brown sugar ground cyenne pepper and some oregano

fired up the ecb about 4 in the morning Sunday and filled my water pan with white cranberry peach juice and apple wood chips

the brisket was about 10 lbs. so i figured up about 2 o clock we would be in business

at 2 I pulled it off foiled it and wrapped in a towel then put in a cooler til 4:30

sliced up the point for dinner

after dinner I sliced up the flat and wrapped up for lunch today! !

for dinner i covered with my homeade raspberry chipolte sauce and sauteed up some aspearagus and mushrooms with evoo and garlic salt and some whole kernal corn mmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm

we ate the point and it was soooo juicy and tender you could pull it apart like tearing off a paper towel from the roll .

my father-in-law said it was awesome and actually went back three times for more

I think it was one of the best I had done so far so I was happy I had the point on the lower rack right on top of the water pan so it was dripping with juice

Looks good and when they go back for more you know you did something right
