Growing up I practically lived on Dr. Steins bagel dogs. I haven't been able to find them for years so I found a bagel recipe and made them. Since this was the first attempt I was reluctant to use any of my homemade deer sausage so I went with regular old hot dogs from the store. I used Hebrew Nationals since my kids like them. They came out better than I could have imagined. There's a lot of possibilities here now. They could have peppers and cheese in them, maybe even mini fatties wrapped with bagel. I'm sure bacon could make the team.
