Did 3 turkeys this year 2 on the Yoder and one in the roaster. Always do one in the roaster because, well... every once in a great while something can go wrong with your smoke. Although I have had zero issues since I bought my Yoder last year. This was my first turkey smoke with the Yoder and I couldn't be more pleased. Only real trouble I had really was that one bird decided it wanted to finish an hour before the other..... it was kinda weird, but oh well they both turned out great. Used Tips Slaughterhouse brine and injection, let the skin dry uncovered in the fridge overnight, light coat of olive oil and tried the Montreal Chicken rub this year. They came out looking beautiful.
