I have been toying with the idea of building a whole hog wooden smoke house. My idea is to build the smoke house with a horizontal rotisserie mounted in the center top of the house. The rotisserie would have a removable spit to facilitate spitting the hog. The idea of the rotisserie is to ensure even cooking. My idea would use a detached fire box with heat and smoke piped in low on one side and vent out high on the opposite. Like I said just toying with the idea, Lookin for thoughts or comments on the idea. I need a winter project now that golf season is coming to an end.
