Mr. Masterdman, Do you have a Sam's club nearby? The yearly family card cost about $40 but is worth it in savings throughout the year. I get my ribs there all the time as they have good case proces on these things. You can pretty much count on $1.88/lb. most the year, however an occasional goos guy butcher will give you a deal(if you engage in the right conversation with him/her. Last week I got a case for $1.40/lb. The butcher was an African American(hope I'm politically correct) and lives just a ways from me,he was invited and a great smile came over his face and I swear I saw some drool dripping down the corners of his mouth! Anyway, another well executed deal. There are 3 pkgs. in each case and 3 slabs in ea.,good and a Happy Fat Boy!LOL

Nice lookin batch-o-ribs. I just picked up a few racks today myself. seems as though the meijer chain stores around here have them on sale again for 2.99 a lb(baby backs). Can't do better than that, even sam's club is 50 cents higher for case price. These are also cropacked in single rack packs, so you don't have to worry about the crappy rack in the middle of the 3 pack(like sam's does alot). So if you live in a region that has a "meijers" store, better check it out.
