    Lumberjack pellets

    I picked up a bag of hickory and apple. Going to use them in my a-maze-n tube. Hope they burn good and have a good smoke flavor. $8.99 a bag at a local farm n feed store, Rural King. Now just waiting on the new replacement smoker to arrive tomorrow.

    Why don't you use the AMNPS in the propane one? I use the 12" tube in my current propane unit and would go for the tray AMNPS for use in the next smoker. I do like the ability to go higher temps with propane as I do love some smoked wings. I also have two propane tanks as I have a gas grill...

    No diffuser plate. dirtsailor2003, I've had issues with the tube inside as well. There I clearly know that the burner is eating all of the oxygen.  This is why I am attempting the MB mod.
