I had resigned myself to be a smoker the rest of my life before I tried the e-cigs. I had no luck with anything before that. Event the thought of quiting would make me want to smoke even more!
E-cigs make it really easy, it almost feels like you're cheating. If you're starter kit doesn't work...
I just got one from Amazon last week, and it's apparently a 20070910 model, so I'm not sure if that's the old or new one?
Anyway, used it a couple times last weekend and really like it! My only worry is if the element goes out.
I'd recommend trying a couple of the Vision Version 3 types. They don't cost much and they are cheap to rebuild. $1.99 for a wick assembly makes it hardly worth cleaning them.
I've noticed the same thing with all my clearomizers: eventually the wicks get burnt and you have to replace them. On the Vision (or Stardust) style, you can get away with washing them in warm water quite a few times, but the T3's don't seem to take to that as well. They do last a good long time...
Just google Tammy's spicy pepperoni. I use her recipe, but double it and use one pound of spicy breakfast sausage and 3 lbs of hamburger. I cut down the liquid smoke (since I smoke mine...) and add about 3 finely diced habanero peppers. (I like mine a little spicy!) I also don't cook it for 8...
So I picked up the MES 30 from Amazon last week but I had to leave for a cruise to Alaska, which was beautiful by the way! Anyway, we got back Saturday and I went about unboxing and seasoning the smoker.
Yesterday I smoked up a chuck roast and some brined chicken. I studded the roast with...
I agree, Eric did a great job of breaking it all down. I think we all go through the same process when we decide to try these things. I started with the V2 brand, graduated to the Halo brand and eventually landed with the eGo brand in the end (although my variable voltage ones are a copy of the...
I use this in the 900mAh and it lasts me all day. I use a Vision Clearomizer Ver.3. You can change the wick for $1.99.
It looks like you're carrying around a felt pen in your pocket, but it works great.

I've been using e-cigs for about a year and a half now. Love it! I still have a couple of real cigs every day, but it's a lot better than 30 of them. I went without for quite awhile, but I've been allowing myself a few more in the last few months and I need to quit it!
It's the only thing that...
Amazon lowered their price again, so I went ahead and ordered the 30" MES. How long is the cord on these things? I can't seem to find the info on that anywhere.
Thanks again! Of course, when I almost make a decision, Amazon raised the price by $30 and WalMart says out of stock!
I won't be buying one until I get back from an Alaska cruise on Memorial Day, anyway.
