My wife bought the Thanksgiving Turkey yesterday at the store and I had forgotten to tell her to make sure she bought one that reads it is a "Natural Turkey" as I am going to brine it before I smoke it next week. She bought a Butterball, and I believe they add some sort of flavoring solution to their birds so I am wondering what this will do to my brining process. Should I reduce the brine? Eliminate it? There may already be a post out there on this subject, and if so, I kindly request someone link me to it. Thanks.
