I don't know anyone who likes different flavours and trying things more than me. That being said, sometimes you just crave the basics. We got a huge tray of CSR's on sale so I did some for dinner. I decided to go basic.
I sprinkled the CSR's with Louisiana Grills Sweet Rib Rub.
I preheated the pellet grill to 210 F and put the ribs on.
I let them smoke until the internal temperature was 130 F (about 1 hour 25 minutes). Then I brushed them with my favourite home made barbecue sauce.
Then I let them smoke until the internal temperature was 155 F (about 2 hours from when I put them on).
I let them sit for 10 minutes.
We served them with a tossed salad of greens from the garden and potato salad.
The Verdict
There is a reason the classics are classics. A basic rub, a nice Q sauce, a good smoke flavour, all on the sweet pork CSR. Sigh. I do love smoked pork.
