Finally getting around to slapping together a 1000 Gallon Trailer.

The new style site only lets me select one pic at a time to upload, so no going to be many pics posted.

Stay tuned

Will holding down the "control" key allow for multiple picture transfers ???

I didn't want the flames licking around from the firebox and burning my piggy, so made a wall there where the smoke enters from the top. I will build the racks tomorrow for here. Trying to see if I can fit 2 whole 100 kg pigs in at once.

On the front I will build a storage for wood and in the future put a table/ lid on it.

Monday I should be able to take it home to my place and finish it. By the end of the day the guys at the new shop were starting to cry. "Damm you work a lot!"" Getter done!!

This one really is coming together fast! Especially for the size of it...how many Chupacabras you reckon she'll hold? o_O

It is a new shop for me, but a run down old place. I need to teach them how to use a broom everyday and put some order in place. I have 3 locations working for me now and spend most of my day on the phone driving in between them and keeping them supplied with materials. Not easy to work and get things done here in Argentina, total SNAFU.

I bought the trailer back to my other shop to finish it off and do the detail work. As with most things if you want it done right you need to do it yourself. Getting close now though.

Spent a full day on it today. Certainly sucks having to redo everything to make it square and correct. Welding up cock eye bolt holes and re drilling sure soaks up time. Would have been easier to have just done it all myself from scratch. Had to cut off every fender and re weld on square and level. Canned that gigantic turd of a chimney mount they made and had to use a 20 ton jack to try and straighten the tank as they warped it from the huge welds even after I told them 10 times just use the minimum heat on the welder. stupid, stupid stupid! The wood box on the front of the trailer is so warped from welding and out of square I am going to cut it off and make one out of #16 sheet metal. Hopefully this week i should make some progress.

warped from welding the expanded metal The tank was warped 10mm or more. I fixed it some with the jack but still not perfect.

Yep..... nothing like spending your day off grinding off someone's crap work in 100F heat. I will send them a photo of all their work cut up in the scrap heap.

Even with my failing eyesight I prefer to use these rulers. Y'all are still in the stone age with inches n feet.
I filled the counter weights with sand and packed them tight. 17.6kg each one.

I had to run out and go shopping for bits for another smaller trailer that is leaving tomorrow.

;)I've got a chart that translates that goofy stuff. When I used to work in construction/engineering in the early 90's we got a set of metric plans from an American architect. We were like o_O Called the guy and he said that's the way they should be and that's the direction we (USA) are going. We asked him if he was going to pay for all our new measuring equipment and promptly got a set of SAE plans.A few of my friends here say we should go metric too...I don't know
