I've started my fridge build...planning on using a pellet hopper and I have a few questions....
What thickness should the door skin be? For
Aluminum and or stainless?
What are the benefits of using either material?
Would 22 gauge stainless steel be too thin?
Thanks

K9, morning....  I've built smoker like you are building...  22 gauge SS is fine...  I used cold rolled steel when I built them...   I used 16 gauge to provide some stability and support...    fill the cavity with fiberglass batts, no paper...

When installing the new panel, use this method to insure it is in "plane" so the door isn't askew...

Thanks Dave, I appreciate it
I'll definitely hang the door that way.
I went with the aluminum for the heavier gauge... It was the same cost as the ss in 22.
