Cold Smoking??

It's a Box to hang Bacon, Hams, and other Cured meats that will be cold smoked to no more that an IT of 150. The guy rigged some kind of fire pit / smoke generator in the ground behind the box and pipes in the smoke and minimal heat getting no hotter than 170. There is no heat source in the box. For that price? I would play with it...JJ
