Boston Butt Here I go will be my first

    Going real nice , SMOKER , is smokin nice ...( Neighborhood smells great )  IT is 160......way to go but smells good

    While Ya wait for my finished product pix thought I would share some pix of some Mexican BBQ and a SMOKER  a Ex-Pat from Fl made while down there , we missed GOOD BBQ   Ribs , and Brisket so he built one outta Plywood worked fantastic [​IMG]Here is a Local Guy ( we called him the "Chicken Man"  great slow cooked "Flat Chicken. [​IMG]

    OK......hope that holds ya a while   till my Boston Butt is done ..........and ya don't mess up yer appetite

    BUT Ya can see why I'm happy to be back in the states , and SMOKING !

      OK .....Here Ya go .............Rubbed ( sat in fridge 24 hrs)   Just put it in at 11:30 Today

     after it 2 hours, checked it it was at 160 So I stuck in the probe, and turned up the heat [​IMG]

    Got it up to 190 ....and wanted to take it but held tight till it hit 200[​IMG]

    200 ! Yeah ! Glad I waited really nice Bark [​IMG]

    Took it out ..........wrapped it in foil have to pick up Mrs. Tiki Guy  so it will rest [​IMG]

    I will "TRY" to get some picks when I pull it .....but can't guarantee it............ Hope so tho   Here is my meager little set up a cheap grill ( came with the house so what the heck )  and My little Brickmen I took the legs off to stick it under the rack ....just goes to show ya ...ya don't need much to make some assume food YOU GUYS  ROCK !   I have learned so much here THANKS ALL OF YA

    Thanks gonna pull it in around a hour ...CAN NOT wait to taste it Hickory smoked Jeffs rub ..the bark looks so good , and I made some Carolina Sause I got from here .[​IMG]
