Good day the place I work at has an old 60 gallon air compressor tank laying around and I was thinking about turning it into a reverse flow stick burner. Would the tank thickness be to thin and save my time and find a propane tank.

Thank you for your input

Looks to be a 20”x48” tank 150psi @ 650F is a pretty good spec. I would say its 1/8” to a hair over that. My copper pot is a 1/8” air tank 30 gal. The thinner will allow you to burn the flames a bit more as it won’t retain a much heat as a 1/4” but if it were free or about free I would make a smoker out of it.
