iGrill looks like it has been sold off to Weber

Went to find information on the Android application and check on a probe. In the iDevices website I was re-directed to Weber grills. Not sure what it may mean in the future. But, iDevices has decided to concentrate on their remote automation items. Tried to get on the Weber site to read a bit...

Can someone with a new style 44 inch take a picture of the chip pans with the lids off and chunks in them. Friend is looking for a new smoker. So far I have not recommended this unit as I cannot see if there is room for wood chunks. J. B.

Master Built Xl 44 glass door dual burners.

With the right fittings, it took about a half hour to install. That is including flipping the unit on its nack, and choosing which way to hang the valve.

The heavy turner picked up 12-14 lb. Pork butts without a bit of flex. The long flexible turner slides under burgers and seafood and...

Testing Maverick, Cappec, and iGrill2 systems and probes.

Managed to water test the probes. IGrill is one degree low. The Maverick one degree high. Pretty dang close.

Opinions on Smoke hollow 44, with 2 pullout trays instead of door

Think I would use up the chips, then consider filling the pans for a heat sink. Or simply remove them. I bet the mailbox modification really works well on this smoker. Plenty of chamber size and good airflow.

Testing Maverick, Cappec, and iGrill2 systems and probes.

I just received an iGrill2 ambient temperature probe. So, in the next week I will be using my testing procedure to compare that probe to the Maverick probes. And I will do the boiling and freezing test. I suspect the boiling and freezing will be right on the money. My interest will be on the...
