I have a Center-feed Reverse flow Smoker for sale. I built this back in 2014 time frame. It's main chamber is made from a 100lb Propane tank. it works great. I have used it as a stick burner. It has a new coat of High temp paint. It also has a port for a gas pipe burner to get your wood or...

Reverse flow build, just getting started

Well, I figured it all out and came up with this one. It is smaller than the OP's (100lb Propane tank), but very similar and works awesome.  Here are some pics of my 1st go with chicken last winter, and a couple of pork loins.  I have done Steak, burgers, chicken, Salmon, pork loin, and one go...

? on Reverse flow design, Center Feed vs End, Horizontal vs vertical

Been using it for some 1-2 hr cooks, mostly steaks, chicken, pork.  Here is the results off my latest cook last week, 2hrs at about 225° - 250°.  11lb pork tenderloin cut in 2, with 2 different recipes.  Also did a slab of salmon at the same time.  It was unbelievably good.

? on Reverse flow design, Center Feed vs End, Horizontal vs vertical

Here is the latest.  1st cook, short, but was good.  I fired up the propane burner in the bottom of the fire box, heated up to 350° in about 15 min.  put some apple wood on, 4 sticks, about 1.5"x2.5"x14", got them started, then turned off the propane.  temps came down to about 325°, and held...

? on Reverse flow design, Center Feed vs End, Horizontal vs vertical

After an number of different designs, my buddie and I decided to do a Center Feed, RF, Horizontal tank design.  The build is about 1/2 way there, hopefully by the end of July, they will be all welded up.  Here's a couple of pictures if they work. Ok, can't seem to get the picture thing to...

Reverse flow build, just getting started

Great build.  Quick question, do you really need a Dampner between the FB and CC?  Does it make a big difference?  I'm desinging a smaller Center feed RF, but wasn't sure if it would be needed?  Going to put a dampner on the chimney.  Thanks for the info.  (I think our tanks are .25" wall, I was...
