    why did my brisket cook so quick

    Like others have said, sometimes it just depends on that particular piece of brisket. Cook times can vary greatly. BTW - I'm right next to you in Glenside.

    Glad you survived the Hospital! Your CSR's look great. I've always made them on just the top rack on my grill, but I'm gonna have to give them a try in my smoker. Thanks for sharing your recipe and time lines.
