    Pork shoulder on, prolly throw some brats covered in mustard and Jeff's rub for lunch, pulled pork around midnight. Gotta love sleeping through 6 am alarm on the weekend!

    Ribs way too spicy

    Smoked some spare ribs yesterday 321 method and they turned out way too spicy. Used Jeff's rub and BBQ sauce. I have used them many times in the past and have never experienced this amount of heat before. My wife tells me I must have mistakened a tsp for a tbs on cayenne. the spice overwhelmed...

    Scallops anyone?

    Hello everyone. Will be smoking some 3-2-1 ribs this weekend. My wife isn't a big fan of rib meat and has asked for me to smoke scallops for her. Has anyone experienced smoking scallops and if so could you provide me with technique, times, and temp please. Greatly appreciate it.

    recommendations please

    I just recieved an omaha offset smoker for xmas and i need to find a cover for it. Cant seem to locate one online that is made specifically for the smoker I have. Any suggestions? Also, are omaha offset smokers decent?

    Checkin in from central Illinois. Just got an Omaha offset smoker. Pretty pumped up about it. It's my first one and first time. Curing it as we speak. Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated. Happy smoking everyone!!
