    Plugged in my masterbuilt 40 in smoker tonight and the display read CH42. Then the lights flashed on and it went to all zeros. Has anyone ever had this before?

    my buddy cut down what he called a flowering crab tree. My question is this the same as a crab apple tree? And has anyone ever used it for smoking?

    First build....lots of input needed

    Trying to plan out my first smoker build and could use lots of input. Starting with a 300 gallon oval fuel tank. Where and what kind of air inlets to put on my firebox? Please feel free to offer any tweaks to the plans and give me any advice you can. Thanks in advance.

    I have a 300 oval fuel oil tank and I have decided to build a reverse flow smoker. Just wondering what people find for fire boxes or do u build them from scratch? Any hints or pics would be appreciated. Also how many vents should I put in the firebox? Really that is my biggest question now is...
