    Squirrel Dumplings

Any chance of getting the recipe for how you cooked up the squirrels?  I've never tried squirrel, but next time I'm in the woods and they're in season, I'll consider taking a few. Thanks

    Did I screw this up?

Thank you for the info.  Next time I will actually use sausage instead of ground meat, but it still tasted good.  I found the fattie thread and was supposed to have venison tacos for dinner, so I had the meat defrosted, and really wanted to try one, so I just threw this together with what I had...

    Did I screw this up?

Tried making my first fattie today.  I used ground venison and stuffed it with some bell peppers, red onion, colby jack cheese, and some spices, then wrapped it all in bacon.  I took it out of my MES40 when the internal temp was at 165.  Looked great, smelled great.  My question is, the inside...

Well, I didn't get a deer, but I did just pick up a MES40 today. Let the fun begin. After I season it, anyway. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2

    New guy from Chicago

Hello everyone, New to smoking food, but happy I found the forum.  I plan on getting my own smoker soon so that I won't have to keep borrowing my buddy's that is about an hour away from me.  So far I have made venison summer sausages that taste ok, but don't look very good...Thanks to the forum...

    Front Leg of Venison Whole

Tried making Venison summer sausage for the first time ever today at my buddy's house, and although those didn't come out how I'd like, we also threw in a front leg from the deer. Sorry, I don't know what the rub was, but man was it good. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
