    So I have one of these digitals. It's only lasted a few months now. Where the wire connects to the probe it has frayed. There are two wires I can see. One that is broke, one that is connected. If I cut the probe, then re-strip the wire and re-crimp, should I be fine? Anyone ever had to fix one...
