    pickled and oiled steel safe?

    I'm puttiing a quote together on building a reverse flow for a guy and want to do it on the cheap for him. I friend of mine told me that pickled and oiled steel is a lot cheaper then plain ol' hot rolled. My concern is that the oil will cause problems. Anyone have any knowledge on this? Thank you.
