    MES 30 Remote issue

    I have had this smoker for a couple of years, today as I use it for the first time this year, the remote wont work. I installed new batteries and can see the display come on for a second and then off. The on/off button doesn't do anything.  Has anyone had this problem before?

    Mounting external Temp Gauge on your MES

    Has anyone drilled a hole in their cabinet and installed one of those temp gauges you can buy at Lowes, that have a nut on the inside? If so do you find them accurate? I'm thinking of doing it but want some opinions.  Thanks, Sonny

    Has anyone had the wood chip tray stick in the unit? I'm stuck in that position right now. I'm kind of afraid to jerk it out and break the heating coil.  Has anybody come across this?

    Hello all!  I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my MES smoker. I've use the wood box for awhile and had a hard time keeping the temp steady so I'm looking forward to using the electric.
