    The BBQ Gun Thread

Here is what I've been playing with lately. It's a pimped out MEC 600 Jr. It has been in the closet for a good long while. With the cost of shells lately I thought I would get it back out. Thank goodness I have a good jag of #8 shot, it's almost $3 a pound now. Playing with 3/4 and 7/8 oz...

You must live in western Kansas. I grew up in the little town of Johnson, in the SW corner. Not quite to the edge of the world but you can see it from there! 😆

    Tornado Omaha, Nebraska...

We dodged that bullet here in Kansas City, praise the Lord! Huge, devastating storms went north and south of us. In two days I had five inches of rain in my gauge, we really needed that!

Congrats on the new pellet grill purchase, can't wait to see it. Orschelands and Tractor Supply stock LumberJack pellets around here and are often on sale Fri, Sat, Sun through the summer for $6.99 per 20 lb bag. They are the best I've found for my SmokeFire. I'm pretty sure you are going to...

    Spring cleanup time

I've kind of been cleaning as I go and with the mild winter we've had I have been using my grills and cookers enough that they are in pretty good shape. The only one I need to get out and check is the 14" WSM but it was cleaned pretty good before putting it away last fall. I will probably use it...

My first time using my new used wsm 18 inch.

Welcome go the forum, Josh. Not sure what to add. Starting with twelve lit brickettes, I never had a runaway like that. But I have always been diligent about closing down the bottom vents as the temp nears 200*.

    Bass Pro / Cabellas

We have two BPS and one Cabella's in the metro area. I have to say I liked Cabella's a lot better before Bas Pro bought them. But all of the stores are nice, really enjoy going there.

The wife and I just finished watching The Chosen. Three seasons and I think there will be a fourth. Great acting, great soundtrack and great story! Now we are starting on Jamestown.
