Precisely! I can neither confirm nor deny! :)
Want to hear a hilarious parody of Jimmy Dean's "Big Bad John"? Here's something to tickle your funny bone right good!
LOL!! Go to Richard's BBQ and install cameras in the kitchen area. Go all-out Mission Impossible on them!!! I get a fiendish delight at the thought of it, but breaking and entering wouldn't be looked kindly upon by the cops. Neither would stealing "intellectual property".
As I understand it...
Bribing the waitress is a good idea except for one thing: the lady who makes the sauce is the owner's wife and she doesn't let anyone see how she makes the sauce.
I am finding out one thing for sure, Chilerelleno! Those who DO know how to make this particular sauce are keeping their lips sealed. No one I know who has sold barbecue will divulge their sauce recipe even though I have no commercial interest and only intend to use it for personal home use...

I have tasted the sauce separate from the meat. It's definitely the sauce. I get extra sauce separate from the sandwich and when it's a dine-in place, I eat several teaspoons of the sauce from the squeeze jar...
thanks for the links. I'll have to look into the recipe from the chipped ham BBQ, but the second is a link to purchase a sauce. That might be a good base to work with but my aim is to make the sauce from scratch; to learn the secret to great PP sandwich sauce.
Is this the sauce these little roadside BBQ shacks put on their pulled pork sandwiches? I'm trying to recreate that thin, flavorful hot BBQ sauce that no one I've encountered thus far will give up the exact recipe for. I guess businesses are protecting their trademark. Can't blame them for...
