    Thinking of adding Chargriller Akorn to stable

    My son got the Akorn and I am impressed with it. Can believe how it holds the heat and how little charcoal it uses. I have a mes electric that I really love , but I still don't think you can beat the flavor when cooked in a charcoal smoker. I always wanted a egg but just to expensive.

    Smoking a whole chicken

    I have a 8lb chicken I would like to smoke in my 40" Mes. Any ideas ? I have hickory , Apple pellets for my amnps. Never smoked a chicken so it's all new to me. Thanks
