Anybody build UDS' s to sell?
Just wondering if anybody builds UDS's to sell. Been thinking about doing this so I made a price list get an idea of how much it costs to build one and I came with about $140. Im just trying to get a rough idea on what they could sell for?- big rig

My Colts UDS build
So far this is what ive got done. Burned, primered, bolts installed, pipe nipples still need to be installed. I also have the lid cut out. Im going to cut out a smaller bottom part of lid that fits inside of the barrel and line it with sheet metal. Also I will have a wooden colts horseshoe...- big rig

How important is romoving all the surface rust from inside the barrel?
So ive got my barrel and ive burned all the paint off and sanded the inside and outside then primered the outside. The inside was cleaned out with mineral spirits, dryed then wiped down with canola oil. I dont think I coated it enough with oil because im getting spots where its rusting again. My...- big rig

Whats up everybody! Been reading up a lot about UDS's on here, YouTube and other forums. Learned a lot about them and started my own build. Still have a few questions here and there about this build And probably other general smoking questions since ive never smoked any meat before.
