    Pulled Pork... Best time to foil? and more importantly WHY??

    As I'm reading all the replies , have two 8lb bone-in butts ready to hit 160, think I'll try one foiled & the other not, well see how they turn out; I'll just keep temp between 220-250; the unfoiled butt, should I just keep spraying it or baste it???, anyhow, well see what happens!

    Thanks JP61!!! Gonna try a brisket this time! The last one I tried didn't turnout too well. It was the first meat I had ever tried smoking. So maybe with some of the advice I've been given, the tips I've read and from my mistakes I'll smoke a half-way decent brisket! Take it easy! BBsurfsIB22

    smoking tomorrow!!!

    Planning to smoke a 6-8lb porkbutt along with some chicken; Fairly new to smoking & I haven't smoked multiple meats, so far only 1 meat @ a time; Is it recommended to smoke chicken & porkbutt together? also, any feedback about smoking skinless chicken breasts? like to here some ideas...
