I did a 7 pound prime rib on my MB for Thanksgiving. Has to be the best ever. 250 degrees for 4 hours and 20 minutes in an aluminum pan with a rack inside. Closed the vent 3/4 of the way, filled the water tray, a little apple wood and whoala !
I have a mes30 and just smoked 10 pounds of spare ribs, turned out great but the cleanup took an hour. Any ideas on cleaning the grates easier than using a half of a box of SOS pads? Can you put foil on the grates? By the way I did one foiled and one not. Doing no foil from now on much better.
Does anyone have a good recipe for smoking pork chops? I just did some St Louis for my very first try and they turned out great using the 3-2-1 method. Really excited about this new found venture.
