    Calling all Smoke Hollow owners!

I started out using chips, then splitting chunks to fit the tray.  I've used pellets the last few times and find that they last about as long as the others.  I've read about people using cast irons pans in place of the trays allowing larger chunks to be used.  I want to try that once I find cast...

Cleaning grates, water pan, smoker boxes

I've read in some of the threads here that some members wash their grates and pans in the dish washer.  Do you go right from the smoker to the washer, or do you soak the grates and pans, scrub off everything that will come off, then wash in the dishwasher? (That's what I've been doing worrying...

    Calling all Smoke Hollow owners!

I have owned and used the 44241G2 (44") for about 2 years now and love it!  I had been using the 2 cooking grates and the 2 jerk grates for smoking anything from chickens, to turkeys, to pork butt, to ribs.  I found cleaning the jerky grates a bit more difficult than the cooking grates so I...

Hello all. My name is Steve Blumenkrantz

Hello all.  My name is Steve Blumenkrantz.  I live in Massachusetts and have been smoking various meats (babyback ribs mostly) in my 44-in Smokey Hollow propane smoker for 2 years now.  I'm excited to get to know you and read some helpful stuff from this group.

How good is the Smoke Hollow 44" smoker ?

I love my smoke-hollow-44 smoker!  It's big and, unlike someone else's experience, I don't think it uses excessive fuel.  I would like to buy replacement grates, and water pan but haven't had any luck finding replacement parts.
