    OK that makes sense. I like the tubes but for cold smoking I would like it to burn for longer. does my setup seem worthwhile? should I maybe run a mailbox mod like yours instead? anything I should look at differently?

    sweet! I'm beginning to hoard these old fridges/freezers. building a smoker out of an old Gibson myself. what is your plans? I have an old kelvinator (has connections to AMC and a few others. and one fridge and one freezer of GE (GM). and now the giboson, haven't researched into it much

    I'm thinking this might be a good smoke generator? Any reason I couldn't plumb a duct from it to the fridge. And an exhaust vent on the top of the fridge? Should work, ya?

    Picked up the candidate. The coolest feature I didn't photograph it has a foot pedal on the front left corner. That pops the door open.
