Thanks. I'm very happy with the results, it's my best one yet. I would still like to get it a little more tender, I think i just need to let it go longer once wrapped (i think ). Extremely happy with the chicken!! Smoked yesterday then reheated on the BBQ today, everyone loved it.
thanks. started before I read your replies. Ended up putting them both on the top and did use water. Came out nice. Eating them tomorrow. Next time i'm going to try without water.

Don't want to thread-jack, but have a similar but different question. I'm smoking 2 whole chickens today for tomorrow (smoking brisket tomorrow). What is the best way to store & reheat after i finish smoking today?
I've got an inexpensive, vertical smoker (i'm still new and practicing) I want to smoke 2 chickens and it will be a tight fit if I put them both on one rack. Can I put one on the top rack and one on the lower rack, which sits right above the water bowl?
