    Left both probes in cup of cold water for about 1/2 hour. BBQ probe was always about 6 -10 degrees lower then the food probe.. Probes submerged to before the wire

    Have both probes in same cup of water, my readings are 10 degrees different. What's the fix?

    sorry for late report. brisket flat came out dry, but point made up for it as it was so tasty it melted in our mouth. gonna try again in a few weeks. as of now, i'm kinda all brisket out...lol!!!
