Man that Smoke house build was a good read.. Cool story . My smoker has the flat round piece that turns just like the one DaveOMak posted a pic of .My old smoker just had about 3 of maybe 4 inch pipe I never felt it was large enough .. Sometimes you need lots of draw to get it started.- papitt

So that was another introduction .. .. I do have a question .. I found a lid that I though was from a Webber smoker .. Well got it home and it's about a half inch to small to fit over the top of the 55 gal barrel so is there a way to use this top . Or do I keep looking for a Webber . ...- papitt

Ugly Drum Smokers
How do you get the Weber lid to fit your barrel . I got a weber lid but it is the same size as the 55 gal barrel . Do I cut the top ring off the barrel . Or somethng else. .. I was so proud when I for a free weber lid but it doesn't fit. . Please send answers to my email.. as I'm having...- papitt
