Masterbuilt Dual Fuel: Chips vs. Chunks

So here's the deal; we're going to the cottage and I'll be smoking a brisket and a butt at some point over the course of the week. I've always used chips since the instructions (I know, I know, I read them) explicitly say not to use chunks.  The things is I find using chips requires a lot of...

    Turkey Breasts! Where's the love?

I was considering that. For better smoke penetration I was also considering removing the skin and replacing it with cheese and butter (this is in Jeff Phillip's book). Thanks for the advice!

    Turkey Breasts! Where's the love?

Well I suppose searching for ''Turkey Breast'' was a good idea.  Don't tell my wife  I've got a Masterbuilt Pro Dual-Fuel and I've found that some pieces (ribs, chicken) don't get as much smoke when they're closer to the top vent.  Thanks for the advice!

Which wood Works best for Bacon?

Actually I was considering a mix of hickory and apple.  I've used hickory most often in my smoking and I've recently used apple to great success and acclaim. I might give that a shot.

Which wood Works best for Bacon?

So I'm trying bacon for the first time this weekend and I'm still not sure what wood to use.  A lot of the recipes out there an in my books alternate between Maple, Apple and Hickory? What have you all found to be the best? My wet cure contains water, kosher salt, honey, maple syrup and pink...

Masterbuilt Pro Dual Fuel Smoker - First Smokes with Q-View

Those ribs looks delicious! My first use with my Masterbuilt was ribs. I managed to cram six racks in (I wouldn't reccommend that however) and they were awesome.

Hey! So I've been smoking on my grill for a quite a while now. I finally bought a smoker about a month ago, a Master Built Pro Dual Fual Smoker. I've played around ribs and chicken and am trying bacon (at last) this weekend. I'm from Hamilton, Ontario Canada and I'm surprised by how few...
