    Thanks for the warm welcome folks.  When we bought our house cooking outdoors was a big part of our plans (hence the oil drums).  I'm glad I found such a friendly place.  And yes, I'll get pics of the progress. :D

    Hey all. I just joined up.  And, as luck would have it, found three used drums in fine shape on CL for the princely sum of $30.  One will be a pair of firepits, and, well, anyone can guess how the other two will turn out since I registered here :D  Well, off to it then. K
