    Can you tell me which of the gloves are the best?

    I get my gloves from amazon, They average about $10 for a box of 100,  Just a warning, be careful about using latex as there are a lot of people that have latex allergies, Nitrile work just as good, come in several sizes and just as strong

    Welcome I just got my MES 40 about 2 weeks ago and yes you want to run it for a good 3 hrs @ 275. You can smell something burning off during this time probably from the production.     If they haven't done anything about the electronics, and if they have in fact reduced the wattage for the element, my advice - that of a fairly recent MES40 owner - would be to stay away from it.
