hi guys i have a question. I just recieved my brinkman vertical smoker and i smoked some pork loin but the temp never seemed to get right because to me the smoker wasnt hot enough. I kept throwing on apple chips and that helped with smoke but the smoker never really get hot the gauge was reading...
I have the vertical one and coals don't seem to stay hot and I was wondering why. Everyone say drill holes in for better airflow but the vents it have should already be adequate.
