    Dropping the fire box?

Even with that amount if i close the lid on the firebox it goes out. The only way i seem to be able to get a good burn is with my wood stove fan. its as if there is no air movenmet at all like it has stalled somewhere.

    Dropping the fire box?

it has grating that lifts the wood/charcoal. Stack wide open and firebox vent full open. Still can't get my temps up or a steady burn.

    Smoker Help

Your unit looks better built than mine!  I tried my wood stove fan and can get the wood to burn. If i don't i can get over 150 with out almost filling the firebox.

Here are pictures of the smoker. I have removed excess wood, open dampers all the way, and exhaust fully. Close the firebox and cc door flame out.

    Smoker Help

Let me make sure i said it right. the damper is wide open but when i open the firebox door it flares up. the stack is wide open as well. I'm now thinking its the wood its seasoned almond that refuse to burn most times.
