    MES Window Cleaning Made Easy

That's the same method I use and it cleans up like new. However I'm always willing to try something new so the Mr.Clean sponges are next on the list.Stay smokey my friend....

This is going to be a long night

I "volunteered" to make pulled pork for a friends daughters graduation party. They bought the meat and I smoke it. Pretty simple. I picked the meat up from them and am now in the process of smoking 70 lbs of pork butt. I have 45 lbs in my GMG DB and 25 lbs in my MES 40. The AMNPS and AMNTS...

    Masterbuilt gen 2 40" issues

I have a MES 40 Gen 2 and a GMG Daniel Boone w/remote. They are two different smokers and have different characteristics. I've had the MES for quite a few months now and have made the usual amount of good and bad choices. I too set my MES on fire with the wood chips. There is kind of an art...

    "Amazin" Customer Service

Everytime my smokers get fired up one of Todd's products is in the middle of the cook. I have never been disappointed with any of his products and his service is second to none.

    cheaper wood pellet smoker box

It looks like a good way to get the extra smoke an AMNPS or AMNTS provides but there seems to be way too much surface area involved in the burn.  With the AMN products the burn area is smaller allowing you to have a more controlled smoke over a longer period of time.  This looks to do the same...

What toys do you use with your pellet smoker?

I too have the Home Depot bucket vac.  For cleaning the GMG DB it works great.  Then when I need to clean out the hopper it works for that too.  The best device I purchased is the AMNTS that really gives you a great smoke without any hassle at all.  I can use the 6" for ribs and the 12" for butt...

    GMG vs Traeger

I purchased the GMG DBR in February.  I've used it a minimum of once a week since I got it.  I did get two worthwhile options with mine. First was the remote.  I don't want to go out in 0 degree weather to change the grill temp if I want to. the second is the insulated cover for cold weather. ...

    Help me upgrade my smoker

I didn't have the budget you've got for a pellet grill so I purchased a GMG DBR.   It's worked really well and cooks like a champ.  All of that said if I had a larger budget I would have opted for the Yoder 640.

roll call on brands of pellet grill

Another thanks for the invite SeenRed.  I have a GMG Daniel Boone w/remote I received 2/1/2013.  I use it every Friday for the weekly rib dinner.  I've also done steaks, butt roasts and brats on it.  It's a lot of fun.

    FIRE in MES 40

Well I called the lad tonight and got the "I'm using it a lot. Mind if I keep it for a while?" response to my "Where's my smoker?" question. I'm so screwed. I'll never get it back......

Help me find the right pellet smoker/grill combo

I went with the GMG Daniel Boone with remote.  It's been great.  There are some nice features over the Traeger and Rec Tec but I wouldn't say one is way better than the other.  All of the units cook good barbecue.  As for steaks it's a bit of a stretch but they can do it if you rely on Grill...

    FIRE in MES 40

The first time I used my MES 40 (the 2nd gen model) was to break it in.  I heated it up as required. I then added the requisite amount of wood chips.  Within a couple of minutes I heard a "whump" from inside the box and there was a great deal of white smoke billowing inside.  I opened the door...

MES 40 Replacement Body - Damaged

That's brutal.  What did the shipper say? They have some responsibility in this too.
