    New Build Smoker Have Questions

    I have access to a 28" Dia x 52" Long piece of pipe. The wall thickness is 1/2". My question is. Is this too large or to thick for a smoker? Plan to build a reverse flow. Will have a square fire box. Any help will be geatly appreciated.

    First time from Kansas

    New to smoking, have had one for about a year. Char griller Smokin Pro.  Modified it with all mods I found on Smoking Forums. Turned it into a reverse flow smoker. Like it so far. Am wanting to build me one out of heavier material. Any suggestions?
