    The thermometer is from my turkey cooker.  It has been bent more than a few times. I'm not really sure it accurately measures air temp. Will a therm designed for cooking meat and liquid accurately measure air temps?

    Yup, there it is in all it's glory.  I am considering a different thermometer. Any suggestions are welcome. The red box on top is just for tools, hot pads etc.
