    Morning! I put a 15 pound bird in brine in a cooler last night around 8pm. I added ice around 11 and went to bed. I just woke up at 4am and temped the water. I've was still floating at the top and 2 corners were around 38 degrees and the other side was at 41 degrees. Do you think the turkey...

    Housewarming party!

    I did a 9 pound butt last Sunday for a work pot luck the following Friday. After I pulled the meat I used gallon ziplock bags, put in an ice bath and froze. Friday morning I boiled the bags and put the meat in the crockpot. Success! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Thanks ya'll. I guess quality was a bad word to use because I have put out some impressive pork in my short time smoking. I was looking at the horizontal style smokers as well but don't have the coin to invest in a good one. The versatility and quality of the WSM has me in quite the ponder...

    Morning! I've been doing a ton of reading on the site and the WSM looks to be a winner. I currently have a PBC. While I enjoy it, I am wondering how much better quality food I can prepare with a WSM. Any thoughts? I am new to smoking and the boards. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
